{"id":52,"date":"2007-06-10T23:26:33","date_gmt":"2007-06-11T06:26:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rahulnair.com\/blog\/2007\/06\/10\/crash\/"},"modified":"2007-06-12T08:50:24","modified_gmt":"2007-06-12T15:50:24","slug":"crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.rahulnair.net\/blog\/2007\/06\/10\/crash\/","title":{"rendered":"CRASH!!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/sff1\/539496129\/\" title=\"Photo Sharing\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1427\/539496129_6752ca7535.jpg\" alt=\"\" height=\"269\" width=\"500\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This photo was taken by an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sff1.com\">SFF1<\/a> member moments after Robert Kubica&#8217; high speed accident during todays Canadian Grand Prix &#8211; you can actually see his race boots sticking out of the remains of his BMW F107. It appears that Kubica hit the rear wheel of Jarno Trulli&#8217; Toyota and was launched into the air before going headfirst into a wall. The car then bounced across the circuit flipping several times before hitting the opposite wall. Though no official figures have been released I would expect that he must have been doing at least 150 mph at the time of impact.
